Usplash-winxp Make Splash Ubuntu like Windows XP Splash
When booting your computer, you look splash OS, like Ubuntu, Windows. This is Ubuntu linux use splash WinXP.
- Download usplash-winxp.tar.gz in http://www.scorpking.za.org/sites/default/files/usplash-winxp.tar.gz
- Unzip that file with unzip or doble clict at that file, and you look like
- Open console, type : sudo su and password
- Install startupmanager with apt-get
sudo apt-get install startupmanager - Run startupmanager to change splash
sudo startupmanager - And now you look like
- Click Appearance -> Manage usplash themes -> Add
- Select the usplash-theme-winxp.so theme and close
- Click Usplah-theme and select usplash-themes-winxp and clik Close
- Reboot your computer
